The Big Move Is On!

Objective: Two Museum Under One Roof...

Time: Sept 4th-7th, 2007

Event: The move is on and we are moved out of our home to the Transition Village and Cowgirls Museum. It was difficult to see everything that was in Design IT Studios, Museum School, and the exhibits slowly being packed or moved to their temporary locations. The turtle, in the picture above, made his move the week prior before the move. The Studio/Discovery Lab will be relocated in the Cowgirls Museum, along with Explore Zone and Kidspace, hopefully by the end of this year. Museum school is going on very strong in their new home with classes running this week.

Though the building is reconstructing in the next two years, the memory of what the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is still standing strong. The new transition is a new stepping stone for Design IT Studios and the Museum as a whole. The staffs are full of anticipation on the next coming year.
